Talbot signs three-year contract with Wild

Cam Talbot signed a three-year, $11 million contract with the Minnesota Wild on Friday. It has an average annual value of $3.67 million.

The 33-year-old goalie was 12-10-1 with a 2.63 goals-against average, .919 save percentage and two shutouts in 26 games (22 starts) with the Calgary Flames last season and 5-4 with a 2.42 GAA, .924 save percentage and two shutouts in 10 Stanley Cup Playoff games.

Signed by the New York Rangers as an undrafted free agent on March 30, 2010, Talbot is 150-122-25 with 2.61 GAA, .915 save percentage and 22 shutouts in 314 games (300 starts) with the Rangers, Edmonton Oilers, Philadelphia Flyers and Flames. He is 12-11 with a 2.46 GAA, .923 save percentage and four shutouts in 25 playoff games.
