CHICAGO — Lucas Raymond scored his first NHL hat trick and had an assist, helping the Detroit Red Wings keep the Chicago Blackhawks winless with a 6-3 victory against the Chicago Blackhawks at United Center on Sunday.
Tyler Bertuzzi had a goal and two assists and Dylan Larkin had three assists for the Red Wings (3-2-1). Alex Nedeljkovic made 32 saves for his first win with Detroit.
Marc-Andre Fleury made 31 saves for the Blackhawks (0-5-1).
Raymond opened the scoring for Detroit at 5:41 of the first period when he took a pass from Bertuzzi in the left corner and shot it past Fleury from the slot.
Tyler Johnson scored at 12:35 for the Blackhawks to tie it 1-1.
Carter Rowney scored his first goal of the year at 4:22 of the second period to put the Red Wings up 2-1. Rowney picked up the loose puck behind the net and banked it in off Fleury.
Vladislav Namestnikov scored at 7:33 to make it 3-1. Detroit made it to 4-1 at 9:19 when Larkin circled the net and put the puck in front. It went in off the left skate of Blackhawks forward Reese Johnson. The goal was credited to Bertuzzi.
Dominik Kubalik scored on the power play for the Blackhawks at 12:10 to make it 4-2. He took a pass from Seth Jones and shot it past Nedeljkovic from the top of the right circle.
Raymond scored at 19:00 off a rebound of a shot by Larkin. Henrik Borgstrom brought the Blackhawks to within 5-3 with his rebound goal at 1:58 of the third period. Raymond got his hat trick at 7:00 on a power play.
