Lightning bring Stanley Cup to Buccaneers game, rock Brady jerseys


The Cup spent Sunday with the GOAT.

The Tampa Bay Lightning took the Stanley Cup to Raymond James Stadium to watch Tom Brady and the NFL’s Buccaneers against the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Buccaneers celebrated the Stanley Cup champs during a pregame ceremony then the players watched the game from a luxury box.

It was the second time the Lightning were at the Buccaneers home this week, but instead of champions shirts, which Tampa Bay wore during their celebration on Tuesday, many sported Brady jerseys.

Forwards Steven Stamkos, Nikita Kucherov and Alex Killorn and goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy chatted with Brady’s wife, model Gisele Bundchen.

Aside from the ceremony, the champs were treated to a classic shootout between Brady and Chargers rookie quarterback Justin Herbert. The Buccaneers quarterback threw five touchdowns, leading his team from down 17 points for a 38-31 win.
