Josh Leivo signed a one-year, $875,000 contract with the Calgary Flames on Saturday.
The 27-year-old forward scored 19 points (seven goals, 12 assists) in 36 games for the Vancouver Canucks last season. He did not play after sustaining a fractured kneecap on Dec. 21, 2019, and was unfit to play in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Selected by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the third round (No. 86) of the 2011 NHL Draft, Leivo has scored 65 points (31 goals, 34 assists) in 165 games with the Maple Leafs and Canucks.
