Kahun agrees to one-year, $975,000 contract with Oilers


Dominik Kahun agreed to a one-year, $975,000 contract with the Edmonton Oilers on Monday.

The 25-year-old forward, who was an unrestricted free agent after he did not receive a qualifying offer from the Buffalo Sabres, scored 31 points (12 goals, 19 assists) in 56 games for the Sabres and Pittsburgh Penguins last season, including four points (two goals, two assists) in six games after he was traded to Buffalo on Feb 24.

Signed by the Chicago Blackhawks as an undrafted free agent May 21, 2018, Kahun has scored 68 points (25 goals, 43 assists) in 138 regular-season games for the Sabres, Penguins and Blackhawks.
