NASHVILLE — Erik Haula scored at 3:32 of overtime in a 1-0 win for the Nashville Predators against the Dallas Stars at Bridgestone Arena on Saturday.
Haula scored on a rebound of a shot attempt by Mattias Ekholm.
Jusse Saros made 28 saves for Nashville (28-22-2), which has won three of its past four games.
Anton Khudobin made 33 saves for Dallas (21-17-13), which is 0-2-1 in its past three games.
The Predators are fourth in the Discover Central Division, three points ahead of the fifth-place Stars. The top four teams qualify for the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Nashville was 5-3-0 against Dallas this season, with each of the wins coming after regulation.
Predators forward Filip Forsberg returned to the lineup after missing the past 17 games because of an upper body injury. He had three shots on goal in 18:20 of ice time.
Nashville defenseman Roman Josi left the game in the first period after being hit into the boards by Stars forward Jason Robertson but returned in the second period.
Stars forward Jason Dickinson did not play in the third period because of a lower-body injury.
