RALEIGH, N.C. — Carter Hart made 39 saves for the Philadelphia Flyers in a 2-1 comeback win against the Carolina Hurricanes at PNC Arena on Friday.
Zack MacEwen and Joel Farabee scored in the third period for the Flyers (7-3-2).
Steven Lorentz scored for the Hurricanes (10-2-0), and Frederik Andersen made 26 saves.
MacEwen redirected Justin Braun‘s shot from the right point to give the Flyers a 2-1 lead with 9:40 remaining.
Farabee tied it 1-1 at 4:06 when he gathered Scott Laughton‘s long dump-in off the end boards and scored five-hole.
Lorentz gave the Hurricanes a 1-0 lead at 11:14 of the second period when he batted Jesper Fast‘s pass across the crease out of the air near the right post.
Seth Jarvis appeared to give the Hurricanes two-goal lead at 11:44, but video review determined Jarvis was offside.
