Fleury gets win No. 490, Golden Knights defeat Wild in OT

ST. PAUL, Minn. — Marc-Andre Fleury moved into third place on the NHL all-time wins list with his 490th victory when Alex Pietrangelo scored at 1:53 of overtime for the Vegas Golden Knights in a 3-2 victory against the Minnesota Wild at Xcel Energy Center on Wednesday.

Fleury, who made 26 saves, passed Roberto Luongo with the win. Patrick Roy is second with 551 victories.

Pietrangelo won it with a one-timer from the left face-off circle after a cross-ice feed from Alex Tuch.

Reilly Smith also scored for the Golden Knights (37-13-2), who have won 13 of 15. Vegas had lost its previous five games against Minnesota.

Kirill Kaprizov scored twice in the third period for the Wild (22-14-5), who have lost three of five. Cam Talbot made 31 saves.

Kaprizov deflected in a pass from Mats Zuccarello at 11:13 of the third period for his 25th goal of the season to tie it 1-1, then gave the Wild a 2-1 lead 13:23.

Smith tied it 2-2 off a pass from William Karlsson for a power-play goal at 15:44.

Chandler Stephenson gave the Golden Knights a 1-0 lead at 8:30 of the second period on a one-timer from Mattias Janmark.

Minnesota played without forward Kevin Fiala, who was a late scratch because of a lower-body injury.
