Pierre-Luc Dubois signed a two-year, $10 million contract with the Columbus Blue Jackets on Thursday. It has an average annual value of $5 million.
The 22-year-old center, who was a restricted free agent, led the Blue Jackets in assists (31) and points (49) in 70 regular-season games last season and led them with 10 points (four goals, six assists) in 10 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
“I’m excited to have the contract done and to be able to get back on the ice and play hockey again, especially with everything that is going on in the world right now,” Dubois said. “I’m very fortunate and looking forward to being with my teammates at camp and the start of a new season.”

“Pierre-Luc is a talented, young player with great potential, and we look forward to his continued growth and development, and the valuable contributions he will bring to our team,” Blue Jackets general manager Jarmo Kekalainen said.
