Add an uncanny Elmo impression to the list of Patrice Bergeron‘s many skills.

The Boston Bruins forward showed off his hidden talent on a video call with children from various Boston hospitals for Halloween.

The annual Halloween tradition, where the Bruins dress up in themed costumes to visit a Boston-area hospital, usually takes place in person, but was moved to Zoom due to concerns surrounding the coronavirus pandemic. This year’s theme was “Sesame Street” characters.

Bergeron was dressed as Elmo and did a pretty amazing voice impression of the widely-loved furry red puppet.

Other memebers of the Bruins also dressed up in costume and broke out their impressions of characters from the long-running children’s show.

Goalie Tukkaa Rask was Oscar the Grouch, defenseman Brandan Carlo was Cookie Monster, forward Sean Kuraly was Bert, forward Charlie Coyle was Ernie, defenseman John Moore was The Count, defenseman Jeremy Lauzon as Grover (as Super Grover, to be exact) and forward Anders Bjork was Abby Cadabby.

It is the 10th year of the Bruins Halloween tradition. Past themed costumes have included characters from “Toy Story,” “Star Wars,” “Despicable Me” and many others.
